Es econ\u00f3mica, presenta buena opacidad y, en ocasiones, se utiliza como sustituto del GCC en el relleno de papel. El carbono blanco nanom\u00e9trico o subnan\u00f3metro, fabricado mediante el m\u00e9todo de fase gaseosa, presenta mayor pureza, \u00e1rea superficial espec\u00edfica y propiedades de adsorci\u00f3n. El consumo de carbono blanco de alta calidad para papel de impresi\u00f3n de inyecci\u00f3n de tinta ha experimentado un r\u00e1pido crecimiento gracias a la expansi\u00f3n de las tecnolog\u00edas de imagen digital.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Bentonita<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>La purificaci\u00f3n, modificaci\u00f3n y blanqueamiento de la bentonita han expandido su uso en la industria papelera. Investigaciones recientes han logrado avances significativos en sus aplicaciones como auxiliares de retenci\u00f3n, auxiliares de filtraci\u00f3n, pigmentos de recubrimiento, agentes de encolado de superficies y agentes de control de la viscosidad del papel y el tratamiento del agua. El uso de la bentonita en la industria papelera ha crecido r\u00e1pidamente, especialmente para la microretenci\u00f3n y auxiliares de filtraci\u00f3n, y para su uso en papel autocopiativo (arcilla blanca \u00e1cida o activa). La tecnolog\u00eda para su uso est\u00e1 bien establecida.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Zeolita<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Los principales tipos de zeolita utilizados en la fabricaci\u00f3n de papel son la clinoptilolita, la mordenita, la analcima y la phillipsita. Debido a su alta porosidad, capacidad de adsorci\u00f3n, capacidad de intercambio i\u00f3nico y propiedades antibacterianas, la zeolita se utiliza en rellenos para la fabricaci\u00f3n de papel, materiales de recubrimiento especiales y agentes de tratamiento de agua. En el papel de impresi\u00f3n, la zeolita proporciona alta opacidad y cobertura. Su estabilidad qu\u00edmica la hace adecuada para la fabricaci\u00f3n de papel tanto en condiciones \u00e1cidas como alcalinas, aunque su mayor resistencia al desgaste limita su uso en m\u00e1quinas de papel de alta velocidad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Wollastonita<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"750\" height=\"477\" src=\"https:\/\/calcium-carbonate.epic-powder.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/wollastonite-1.webp\" alt=\"wollastonita 1\" class=\"wp-image-3390\" srcset=\"https:\/\/calcium-carbonate.epic-powder.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/wollastonite-1.webp 750w, https:\/\/calcium-carbonate.epic-powder.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/wollastonite-1-300x191.webp 300w, https:\/\/calcium-carbonate.epic-powder.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/wollastonite-1-18x12.webp 18w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 750px) 100vw, 750px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>La wollastonita es un mineral fibroso con propiedades \u00fanicas. Tras su procesamiento, la relaci\u00f3n de aspecto puede alcanzar entre 15 y 60. La wollastonita modificada presenta mayor flexibilidad e hidrofilicidad, lo que mejora la afinidad con las fibras vegetales y la resistencia del papel. Con la misma resistencia del papel, la cantidad de wollastonita modificada a\u00f1adida puede aumentarse entre 0,3 y 1,0 veces en comparaci\u00f3n con el talco y el carbonato de calcio pesado (GCC) de la misma finura, lo que puede reducir significativamente el consumo de pulpa. La wollastonita modificada es adecuada para la fabricaci\u00f3n de papel en condiciones \u00e1cidas y alcalinas. Sin embargo, debido a su alta dureza y alto valor de abrasi\u00f3n, su uso en m\u00e1quinas de papel de alta velocidad est\u00e1 sujeto a ciertas restricciones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Yeso<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Las fibras de yeso superan las deficiencias de otras fibras minerales, como su corta longitud, fragilidad, baja retenci\u00f3n y alta dureza. Cumplen con los requisitos de las m\u00e1quinas papeleras de alta velocidad. El yeso tiene amplias aplicaciones en papel de impresi\u00f3n y escritura, as\u00ed como en recubrimientos de papel. El yeso modificado mejora la retenci\u00f3n, la resistencia, la rigidez y la opacidad del papel en comparaci\u00f3n con el talco o el carbonato de calcio. La vermiculita se utiliza en diversos papeles industriales funcionales, como papel para embalajes de arte y manualidades, papel para cubiertas de libros, papel decorativo, papel para pl\u00e1ntulas agr\u00edcolas, papel para embalaje de alimentos, papel militar y otros.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Sepiolita<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>La sepiolita posee una fuerte adsorci\u00f3n, resistencia a altas temperaturas (1500-1700 \u00b0C), buena dispersi\u00f3n, resistencia a la corrosi\u00f3n, resistencia a la radiaci\u00f3n y propiedades aislantes. Tambi\u00e9n se utiliza en cart\u00f3n de construcci\u00f3n, separadores de bater\u00edas, papel dom\u00e9stico de alta absorci\u00f3n de agua, papel ign\u00edfugo, almohadillas absorbentes para mascotas, purificadores de aguas residuales y otros productos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Halloysita<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>La halloysita se encuentra en fase de desarrollo industrial. Presenta baja abrasividad, lo que la hace adecuada para m\u00e1quinas de papel de alta velocidad y ofrece bajos costos de producci\u00f3n. Puede mejorar la resistencia del papel (30\u201360%) y la opacidad mediante su modificaci\u00f3n con PVA, APM o productos a base de almid\u00f3n. La halloysita tambi\u00e9n proporciona mayor suavidad y tersura al papel en comparaci\u00f3n con los rellenos de ammolita.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Tremolita<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>La tremolita es un material fibroso semitransparente. Su contribuci\u00f3n a las propiedades del papel es similar a la de la wollastonita y la halloysita. El consumo de suelos compuestos, decoraci\u00f3n de muebles y papel de construcci\u00f3n ha aumentado en los \u00faltimos a\u00f1os.
