Su forma de part\u00edcula es fusiforme, acicular o columnar, con tama\u00f1os de part\u00edcula que oscilan entre 1 y 10 \u03bcm, y el 80% de las part\u00edculas es inferior a 3 \u03bcm. Tiene una densidad de 2,65 g\/cm\u00b3. El carbonato de calcio ligero se utiliza principalmente en poliolefinas y tiene efectos similares al carbonato de calcio pesado, con mejores efectos de mejora y mejor resistencia a los \u00e1cidos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Carbonato de calcio activado<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Tambi\u00e9n conocido como <a href=\"https:\/\/calcium-carbonate.epic-powder.com\/es\/surface-modification\/\">carbonato de calcio modificado<\/a> o carbonato de calcio coloidal. Se presenta como un polvo blanco, fino y blando con una densidad de 1,99\u20132,01 g\/cm\u00b3. Los pl\u00e1sticos rellenos de carbonato de calcio activado presentan buena resistencia, superficies lisas y excelente lubricaci\u00f3n, lo que facilita su procesamiento.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El carbonato de calcio se clasifica seg\u00fan el tama\u00f1o de part\u00edcula de la siguiente manera:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>1\u20135 \u03bcm: Micropart\u00edculas de carbonato de calcio<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>0,1\u20131 \u03bcm: Carbonato de calcio fino<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>0,02\u20130,1 \u03bcm: Carbonato de calcio ultrafino<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Por debajo de 0,02 \u03bcm: Carbonato de calcio ultrafino<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Para producir carbonato de calcio ultrafino, se utiliza un proceso continuo de carbonataci\u00f3n por aspersi\u00f3n y secado por aspersi\u00f3n (proceso de doble aspersi\u00f3n). Este proceso reduce los aglomerados aparentes y garantiza una activaci\u00f3n superficial uniforme. Es un relleno t\u00edpico en forma de escamas, qu\u00edmicamente inerte y de tacto resbaladizo. Con una densidad de 2,7\u20132,8 g\/cm\u00b3, el talco en polvo es el segundo relleno m\u00e1s utilizado despu\u00e9s del carbonato de calcio. Como relleno pl\u00e1stico, mejora la dureza, la resistencia a la llama, la resistencia a \u00e1cidos y \u00e1lcalis, el aislamiento el\u00e9ctrico, la estabilidad dimensional y la resistencia a la fluencia. Tambi\u00e9n posee propiedades lubricantes, lo que reduce el desgaste de la maquinaria y los moldes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El talco en polvo es un relleno laminar, por lo que, al usarse en pl\u00e1sticos, aumenta significativamente la rigidez y reduce la anisotrop\u00eda. Es ideal para la fabricaci\u00f3n de productos grandes y planos. El talco se utiliza principalmente en PP como agente nucleante de la cristalizaci\u00f3n, mejorando el tama\u00f1o de los cristales y aumentando la rigidez. Tambi\u00e9n se utiliza en resinas de PVC, PE, PA y PC. La cantidad a a\u00f1adir suele ser de 10% a 40%. Las condiciones y equipos de procesamiento son similares a los utilizados para pl\u00e1sticos con relleno de carbonato de calcio, incluyendo m\u00e9todos de extrusi\u00f3n, moldeo, inyecci\u00f3n y calandrado.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Wollastonita<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>La wollastonita es el tercer relleno m\u00e1s importante despu\u00e9s del carbonato de calcio y el talco. Se elabora a partir de minerales de silicato naturales, como el silicato de calcio (CaSiO\u2083). La wollastonita natural presenta una estructura mixta acicular, bastoncillosa y granular, principalmente en forma de aguja. Es un mineral cristalino blanco, no higrosc\u00f3pico, no t\u00f3xico, con un bajo coeficiente de expansi\u00f3n t\u00e9rmica y excelente resistencia qu\u00edmica. La wollastonita tiene un \u00edndice de refracci\u00f3n de 1,62, similar al del PVC, lo que la hace ideal para productos transparentes de PVC. Su estructura acicular refuerza los pl\u00e1sticos y puede sustituir parcialmente las costosas fibras de vidrio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La wollastonita se utiliza en PVC, PP, PE, PA, poli\u00e9ster, resina epoxi y resinas fen\u00f3licas. Es blando y resbaladizo, con una densidad de 2,2 a 2,6 g\/cm\u00b3 y un pH de 5 a 6. Posee excelentes propiedades de aislamiento el\u00e9ctrico y se utiliza en aplicaciones como aislamiento de PVC, cables de PE y PP, y pel\u00edculas compuestas. Al a\u00f1adir caol\u00edn 10% al PVC, mejora el aislamiento el\u00e9ctrico de 5 a 10 veces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El caol\u00edn tambi\u00e9n se utiliza en resinas de poli\u00e9ster y epoxi para ajustar la viscosidad, mejorar la resistencia al desgaste y optimizar las propiedades de procesamiento. Tambi\u00e9n puede actuar como agente nucleante para el PP y posee ciertos efectos ign\u00edfugos. La cantidad a\u00f1adida suele oscilar entre 5% y 60%, con un tama\u00f1o de part\u00edcula superior a 100 mesh.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Mica<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>La mica es un mineral complejo compuesto de aluminio, potasio, litio, magnesio, hierro y otros elementos. El polvo de mica se obtiene triturando escamas de mica natural hasta convertirlas en polvo, con tama\u00f1os de part\u00edcula t\u00edpicos de entre 8 y 10 \u03bcm y una relaci\u00f3n longitud-ancho de aproximadamente 30. La mica presenta una estructura plaquetaria t\u00edpica con un brillo v\u00edtreo y un contenido de humedad de entre 1,01 TP\u2083T y 4,21 TP\u2083T. No es t\u00f3xica y puede utilizarse en productos en contacto con alimentos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El polvo de mica se puede utilizar para rellenar pl\u00e1sticos de PE, PP, PVC, PA, ABS y poli\u00e9ster, as\u00ed como pl\u00e1sticos termoendurecibles como EP y PF. La cantidad t\u00edpica de adici\u00f3n es de 10% a 40%, con tama\u00f1os de part\u00edcula que var\u00edan de malla 100 a 325. La mica aumenta significativamente el m\u00f3dulo de tracci\u00f3n y flexi\u00f3n en pl\u00e1sticos y proporciona un excelente aislamiento el\u00e9ctrico, resistencia al calor, estabilidad dimensional, resistencia a la humedad y resistencia a la corrosi\u00f3n. La desventaja es su mayor costo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Tierra de diatomeas<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>La tierra de diatomeas es un sedimento fosilizado formado por algas unicelulares. Est\u00e1 compuesta principalmente de SiO\u2082, es porosa, ligera y f\u00e1cil de moler. Es un relleno ligero de alta calidad que se utiliza en PVC, PO y pl\u00e1sticos termoestables, as\u00ed como en compuestos de construcci\u00f3n para aplicaciones de insonorizaci\u00f3n, aislamiento t\u00e9rmico y antiadherencia. Existe una amplia variedad de tipos, como el negro de horno, el negro de canal y el negro t\u00e9rmico. El negro de humo aporta protecci\u00f3n contra la degradaci\u00f3n por luz y la oxidaci\u00f3n t\u00e9rmica cuando se utiliza en pol\u00edmeros. Su finura influye en el rendimiento del producto; las part\u00edculas m\u00e1s finas proporcionan mejor negrura, protecci\u00f3n UV, resistencia al envejecimiento y menor resistividad superficial, pero pueden ser m\u00e1s dif\u00edciles de dispersar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Como relleno se suelen utilizar part\u00edculas m\u00e1s grandes de negro de humo de horno (25\u201375 \u03bcm).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">S\u00edlice (SiO\u2082)<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>La s\u00edlice (SiO\u2082) es un tipo de polvo de roca, compuesto principalmente por cuarzo y minerales de silicato. El polvo de SiO\u2082 natural se utiliza en resinas termoendurecibles como las resinas de poli\u00e9ster insaturadas y epoxi, as\u00ed como en la producci\u00f3n de \u00e1gata y m\u00e1rmol artificiales. La s\u00edlice sint\u00e9tica, com\u00fanmente conocida como negro de humo blanco, es un relleno de refuerzo, superado solo por el negro de humo.
