Peu co\u00fbteuse, elle pr\u00e9sente une bonne opacit\u00e9 et est parfois utilis\u00e9e comme substitut du GCC dans le remplissage du papier. La consommation de carbone blanc de haute qualit\u00e9 pour le papier d&#039;impression jet d&#039;encre a connu une croissance rapide avec le d\u00e9veloppement des technologies d&#039;imagerie num\u00e9rique.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Bentonite<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>La purification, la modification et le blanchiment de la bentonite ont \u00e9largi son utilisation dans l&#039;industrie papeti\u00e8re. Des recherches r\u00e9centes ont permis des progr\u00e8s significatifs dans ses applications comme agents de r\u00e9tention, adjuvants de filtration, pigments de couchage, agents de collage de surface et agents de contr\u00f4le de la viscosit\u00e9 du papier et du traitement de l&#039;eau. L&#039;utilisation de la bentonite dans l&#039;industrie papeti\u00e8re a connu une croissance rapide, notamment pour la micro-r\u00e9tention et les adjuvants de filtration, ainsi que pour le papier autocopiant (argile blanche acide ou active). La technologie de son utilisation est bien \u00e9tablie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Z\u00e9olite<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Les principaux types de z\u00e9olite utilis\u00e9s en papeterie sont la clinoptilolite, la mord\u00e9nite, l&#039;analcime et la phillipsite. Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 sa porosit\u00e9 \u00e9lev\u00e9e, sa capacit\u00e9 d&#039;adsorption, sa capacit\u00e9 d&#039;\u00e9change d&#039;ions et ses propri\u00e9t\u00e9s antibact\u00e9riennes, la z\u00e9olite est utilis\u00e9e dans les charges papeti\u00e8res, les rev\u00eatements sp\u00e9ciaux et les agents de traitement des eaux. Dans le papier d&#039;impression, la z\u00e9olite conf\u00e8re une opacit\u00e9 et une couverture \u00e9lev\u00e9es. La wollastonite modifi\u00e9e pr\u00e9sente une flexibilit\u00e9 et une hydrophilie accrues, ce qui am\u00e9liore l&#039;affinit\u00e9 avec les fibres v\u00e9g\u00e9tales et la r\u00e9sistance du papier. \u00c0 r\u00e9sistance identique, la quantit\u00e9 de wollastonite modifi\u00e9e ajout\u00e9e peut \u00eatre multipli\u00e9e par 0,3 \u00e0 1,0 par rapport au talc et au GCC (carbonate de calcium lourd) de m\u00eame finesse, ce qui permet de r\u00e9duire consid\u00e9rablement la consommation de p\u00e2te. La wollastonite modifi\u00e9e convient \u00e0 la fabrication de papier en milieu acide et alcalin. Cependant, en raison de sa duret\u00e9 et de sa r\u00e9sistance \u00e0 l&#039;abrasion \u00e9lev\u00e9es, son utilisation sur les machines \u00e0 papier \u00e0 grande vitesse est soumise \u00e0 certaines restrictions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Gypse<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Les fibres de gypse compensent les inconv\u00e9nients des autres fibres min\u00e9rales, tels que leur faible longueur, leur fragilit\u00e9, leur faible r\u00e9tention et leur duret\u00e9 \u00e9lev\u00e9e. Elles r\u00e9pondent aux exigences des machines \u00e0 papier \u00e0 grande vitesse. Le gypse trouve de nombreuses applications dans le papier d&#039;impression et d&#039;\u00e9criture, ainsi que dans les couchages. Le gypse modifi\u00e9 am\u00e9liore la r\u00e9tention, la r\u00e9sistance, la rigidit\u00e9 et l&#039;opacit\u00e9 du papier par rapport au talc ou au carbonate de calcium. La vermiculite est utilis\u00e9e dans divers papiers industriels fonctionnels, notamment les papiers d&#039;emballage pour l&#039;artisanat, les couvertures de livres, les papiers d\u00e9coratifs, les papiers pour semis agricoles, les papiers d&#039;emballage alimentaire et les papiers militaires.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>S\u00e9piolite<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>La s\u00e9piolite pr\u00e9sente une forte adsorption, une r\u00e9sistance aux hautes temp\u00e9ratures (1\u00a0500 \u00e0 1\u00a0700 \u00b0C), une bonne dispersion, une bonne r\u00e9sistance \u00e0 la corrosion et aux radiations, ainsi que des propri\u00e9t\u00e9s isolantes. Sa faible abrasivit\u00e9 la rend adapt\u00e9e aux machines \u00e0 papier \u00e0 grande vitesse et ses co\u00fbts de production sont faibles. Elle permet d&#039;am\u00e9liorer la r\u00e9sistance du papier (30\u201360%) et son opacit\u00e9 gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 des modifications avec du PVA, de l&#039;APM ou des produits \u00e0 base d&#039;amidon. L&#039;halloysite offre \u00e9galement une meilleure souplesse et un meilleur liss\u00e9 du papier que les charges d&#039;ammolite.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Tr\u00e9molite<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>La tr\u00e9molite est un mat\u00e9riau fibreux semi-transparent.
