Il est principalement compos\u00e9 de calcite, de calcaire, de serpentine et de dolomite, la composante carbonate repr\u00e9sentant plus de 951 TP3T. La duret\u00e9 Mohs du marbre varie de 2,5 \u00e0 5, et sa densit\u00e9 varie entre 2,6 et 2,8 g\/cm\u00b3. Les gisements de marbre se divisent en types \u00e0 gros grains et \u00e0 grains fins.
